Even more so since you said it was.
Let's see, here:

Your spelling is shit.
The effects; they were shit.
The jokes; They were not funny.
You spelled goku's real name wrong (i do not spell it here in fear of misspelling it myself. I know how it is pronounced, but not how it is spelled).
The parts where you were obviously trying to be serious didn't seem serious because of the music that didn't fit the flash at all, and the crappy dialogue.

Yeah, you slid by quite luckily with that two, my friend.

hahaha wow your an even better comedian than me, you say you dont think the jokes are funny when you dont get them yourself, karrot...kakarot and then he procedes to say "i thought id have lunch and carrots are sounding good" which was a play on the word karrot, so i couldnt have made that joke with-out perposly misspelling kakarot.and that was the only joke i made therfore you couldnt not find the jokes funny while you do not understand them

you people REALLY don't know much about stick animation :/

I liked the glowing trails on the swords. I can't say much for the rest though. In a notably low fps, and was still choppy...

Also, one of the things that took away from the dignity of the animation is the fact that whenever they were supposed to be standing still, the were kinda wobbling around or something.

Sorry, but having seen (and animating) sticks so much, i know enough to say that with sticks, this doesn't cut it. Sticks are so easy to animate, that they have to be done excessively smooth...

The newgrounders who write reviews but don't actually animate (and therefore don't know the hardships of animation), will not quite understand this.

Stick Animation: 4/10
Effects: 8/10
Fight Coreography: Excessively bland / unoriginal, 3/10
Background: 6/10

All-in-all, it was pretty good.

And remember, although it may seem like it, i'm not trying to bash you. I'm giving you helpful advice, it's just that i always seem to sound like an asshole when writing anything :C

Oh, and don't do imitations.... ghostfight style...
Not many people appreciate them. Come up with something original, and you'll get a much more respectable product.

Anyways, now for the real review;

This was actually not that bad!
I could easily tell though that the movie you had in your mind had a lot more shading, more enemies, was more fast paced, had lots of camera angle changes, special effects and was a lot smoother though, amirite?
Lol, anyways, keep doing flash but make sure you don't do the one thing that will destroy you on NG....

do NOT submit every piece of crap you make. This one was submit-able. But please, don't submit everything you do.

i loved your usage of the old school video game style animating...
(like street fighter)
draw 3 or so pictures for any 3D motions and tween the in between parts
this style can be done properly and smoothly or it can be taken in by the hands of a jackass who will totally fuck it up. You sir, are not a jackass.

i did have one problem with the video though:
the music was not nearly grainy enough!

well thank you.... but actually i never use motion or shape tweens.... i only use them for fades or panoramic views. not for character animation

The movie was kinda pointless. I know you wanted to tell us what happened and stuff, but like... that's not what NG is for. This is something you WRITE (not animate) on your ng userpage.

Oh and to the guy below:
Frame by frame ALWAYS looks better than tweens. ALWAYS.
just plain and simple: FBF top tier, tweening mid tier, KK and strawberryclock spam low tier.

Tweening CAN be rly good, mind you. But in cases where the artist has not much or little experience, tweening is teh lazy faggot way out of animating and it shows. fbf takes more time and effort and looks better in the end.

Well, first of all the shortness.

This should have had a lot more weapons
I know it was a demo and all (lol i don't rate movies without reading author comments either), but still, you probably should have lengenthed it a bit before submitting.

Second: You should fix all known issues before submitting
i don't know whether you saw it or not, but the sword was glitchy :S
But you can still fix that :D
I also don't know whether you know this or not, but after submitting a flash, you can change the original .swf. So you can make changes. If you do make changes, remember to write that in the comment

And lastly, the plainness. Yeah, it was kinda bland.
You should spice it up a bit:
more kickass graphics effects (i liked the blood fx^^)
and this rating would have been a 7 if there were background music :P

So keep animating, let's see where you get to (skillwise)!

PS. I can see you have the talent and ability to do this; some people just plain can't animate for their lives. You can. Now it's just about effort. Just pump a bit more juice into your movies and you'll be fine :D

amazing!

This was an awesome collab. I only had one problem with it: the weird mix of artists. Certain clips were really good while others weren't as good. I'm not saying they were bad, just not as good.

Also i would just like to say the dbz scene was simply amazing :D
it was nothing but pure effort. That's why i like fbf artists, because it takes effort :D

Anyways, Great job guys! I hope most of you will continue
