Monkeyshizznick is a downright retard who needs to open his eyes. Newgrounds isn't the only animation site in the world, fool.

Anyway, that was better than what i was expecting, man. Not that there isn't still room for improvement. Great use of angle, filters, effects and depth. The biggest problem i saw though was resizing. There was far too much of it. Apart from that, great job, I'd love to see this in a battle :)

You drew your shitty sprites on paint, made a compilation of pictures in windows movie maker with an fps JUST high enough to be called a 'movie' rather than a slideshow, and then converted the avi to a swf with some shitty converter?

Because if you DID do this in flash, that's really pathetic. Everything was pixelated, so i doubt you made use of flash's vector graphics, and what was the framerate, 2?

This was horrible, and i'm ashamed that newgrounds keeps letting this stuff pass.
There's too much garbage on the portal, the idiots here need to stop 5'ing everything.

Lots to learn.

A mediocre start.
Work on the following:
Easing (i saw little to none at all)
Physics
Force (again, little to none)
Stiffness
Proper dialogue/displaying of said dialogue (the generic big black unskippable text just screams: "I DIDN'T WORK VERY HARD ON THIS.")
Presentability (again, fancy it up a bit, make it look like it took more effort)

Well, i got to go, right now, but theres a lot more to work on.

It's a start. A good one at that.

Well, this is about 9812396283x better than all the other "first stick animations" we have flooding the portal. What i mean to say is, you have lots of potential. Unlike some of those other guys, who will never animate anything worth watching in their lives (probably, at least), i can see that you will be a pretty good animator. And if you work for it, it can happen very soon.

There's a few problems with it, here they are:
you filterFagged this flash. The shitty computer i'm using right now couldn't view it. To watch the flash, i had to download it, watch it several times (lol), then delete it. Unlike me, many people will not know how to download flash from newgrounds, so many people won't see your work, and end up voting 0.

Preloaders are important. I'm on a 7mbits down connection, so i rarely have to worry about this. But all those low broadband and dial-up users are gonna get pissy. Another thing that might get you an undeserved zero.

Your use of vcam wasn't too bad, although it was going a little crazy at the end for no reason, haha. I'm gonna guess that you put it in a movie clip?

The biggest problem is right here: WAYYYY TOO FAST. Lower the fps by, say... 5 numbers? This was ridiculous, i could barely see what was going on. And especially with the vcam moving around. It was impossible. Like i said, though, i downloaded the flash, so i simply zoomed out a bit, and i could see the battle. But seriously, you have to slow down your next flash. If you feel too lazy to do more frames, just lower the fps. Obviously your animation will be more choppy, but hey, that's how it works.

Now, you have the foundation of a good stick animator. You need some good tutoring. With the help of others, you can work on:
-Easing*
-Fluidity
-Properly Choreographed battles
-Physics*
-Proper use of sound
-Great Backgrounds
-Proper Animating Procedure

Now, i'm not saying that you don't already have any of these. I'm just saying, that's what people can help you achieve. The stars indicate the most important (in my opinion, anyway) skills out of them all.
Newgrounds isn't a very good place for an aspiring stick animator. You won't quite get proper criticism like this very often. I suggest you migrate to a stick-site. It will be much more enjoyable for you.
Some good ones being:
-SFDT (stick figure death theatre)
-Shiftlimits (i got banned from there, pfft. The people there are a little rough on newcomers, and they are basically the embodiments of sarcasm. First impressions are everything. once you get in, these guys will help you out LOTS. My stay there nearly tripled my animation skill)
-Stickpage
These among others will help you achieve a higher level of animating.

Why are you shitting yourself over one review that was like 5 words long?

Anyway, here it is broken down.

The joke at the end wasn't really funny. It was kinda lame.

What most people do is play with flash for a few weeks before making their first submission. You obviously didn't want to wait and submitted something absolutely experienceless. There was no sign of easing, fluidity, it was just bad.

Length - A very important factor. This was, what, 10 seconds long? Effort is a necessity if you want to get anywhere here.

The combined forces of no length + crappy animation means that many people will mistake this for spam. And honestly, i don't care what you say, this is in the portal about the same time as your other stick video, and you only did it in one hour... yeah, this is spam.

Nobody likes spam, you're gonna have to spend a little more time on your animations. And i don't think you should submit anything until you have a month's practice with the program.

Anyways, that about sums it up. Sorry it had to be like that, but you aren't contributing to this wonderful asset we call newgrounds. Rather, defacing it.

Oh, and i am SERIOUS. DON'T animate sticks. You are much better off with fb's. The completely horrible physics in this flash made it completely boring to watch. Made me angry, even.

First of all, i'd just like to say, that you completely contradicted yourself. If you wanted to spread this message, you would have done better to post it on your userpage, or something. Or at least by putting a little more effort into this flash, at least that way you wouldn't be defeating the purpose.

I find it funny that everybody else who reviewed were saying: "Yeah, man, that's a really good point. People should stop submitting crap."

Okay, well, for one thing, everybody already knows that. It's common knowledge. That's like you walking up to a tree, kicking it, and screaming HEY! DID YOU KNOW YOU WERE A TREE?
Stating the obvious. Pointless.
And secondly, this flash is part of that.

Sorry to sound mean, i don't intend to. Just saying. You are simply adding to the crap and spam.
Anyways, two stars for good intention, another star for the 'effort' you put into this.
