haha.
faces to seperate the sticks?
you people REALLY don't know much about stick animation :/
I liked the glowing trails on the swords. I can't say much for the rest though. In a notably low fps, and was still choppy...
Also, one of the things that took away from the dignity of the animation is the fact that whenever they were supposed to be standing still, the were kinda wobbling around or something.
Sorry, but having seen (and animating) sticks so much, i know enough to say that with sticks, this doesn't cut it. Sticks are so easy to animate, that they have to be done excessively smooth...
The newgrounders who write reviews but don't actually animate (and therefore don't know the hardships of animation), will not quite understand this.
Stick Animation: 4/10
Effects: 8/10
Fight Coreography: Excessively bland / unoriginal, 3/10
Background: 6/10
All-in-all, it was pretty good.
And remember, although it may seem like it, i'm not trying to bash you. I'm giving you helpful advice, it's just that i always seem to sound like an asshole when writing anything :C
Oh, and don't do imitations.... ghostfight style...
Not many people appreciate them. Come up with something original, and you'll get a much more respectable product.

Thanks!!!
Pixar, indeed.
This was very well done. You may have well been working for disney back in the times of Toy Story and such.
I don't really like what disney has become... after walt's passing, they have done very little animating, and when they do an animation, it is hardly anything like the classics.
Oh well, i guess you can't stop these kind of things from happening...
Great job :D
oh wow.
even with all the crappy reviews, i expected something better than this.
Don't give me the five minute excuse... the actual running animation was what, 4... no, 5 frames? I could shit that out in about 30 seconds.
Even if you tell me you had 45 seconds to make this, including menu and all, that's no excuse. Just simply DON'T PUT IT UP THEN.
This tutorial is not going to help anybody, for two reasons:
1) If somebody needs a tutorial for a running sequence this bad, their flash career will die upon seeing this.
2) Anybody who needs a tutorial for a running sequence must already be really garbage, so theres no point.
I don't flame people often. But i do flame people for handing in 5minutes worth of crap. One of the two reasons i ever flame people, no effort, and hate flashes.
I AM GOLDEN EAGLE
the golden eagle part was like all the other skits put together.
And those ones were pretty damn funny to start!
it was okay
i could easily tell you made this with dumbass mario in mind.
;P
yea mario is a dumbass, tho check your grammar :D
o-o waoh
the end was extremely creepy
kinda freaked me out
if you ever wanna scare a little kid.....
it wasnt too bad
the jokes were not bad
cereal box, lawl
and it must have been a real pain in the ass to keep going in and out of camera mode for each scene in the pokemon part lawl
i don't know why but this reminds me of keaton's oldass movies, back before i eve nknew what flash was o_o
Seeing the grainy icon...
...i was not expecting such mad epicness.
and lols @ "Greeting Ngers!"
when i saw that im like wait did he just say greetings n**gers??
Anyway, now to actually make a review.
What can i say?
usually in my reviews i would point out mistakes, flaws, "things you should do next time," but in this case, and i don't know about anybody else, im giving this a 5/5 and 10/10. So there are no flaws for me to point out.
I guess i'll let you know WHY i gave it such an epic score then.
-Resembled a classic action movie in professional theatre cinematics
-Storyline was amazing
-Graphics were up to par, and a trillion miles beyond par when it comes to madness
-Multiple chapters, and they were organized properly (uncommon in flash, but again popular in hollywood)
-Chapter transitions were great
-Multiple things going on at once (epic fight between the first two + xero running around)
If i were to keep going, i'd definately hit the max text limit.
And now, here i go to view some of your other submissions.
Good day, Happy animating, and keep up the awesome work!
*can't wait for part 2*
-Cheers, Zedd56
Flamers.....
Everybody who posted down there, you guys are a bunch of assholes.
Alright, the movie wasn't that great to be honest. You did kind of replicate his style..... sort of..... kinda..
It was a good shot is all im gonna say about it. Now if you had a few more submissions, i could give you some REAL advice....
I Animate sticks. I'm very active on the flash forum. I wish i could speak japanese, and I like anime/manga. I am also a Actionscripter. I've been told by many on the forums that i am very helpful. I'm friendly, and love to help people out :> FWENDS?
