Oh man.

Very choppy. Yes, very choppy indeed.
This could have been a lot better; you need to read up on some tutorial on basic flash techniques (ex: did you know about onion skinning?)

It was animated in 20fps but it looked like you triple-framed most of it. (In case you don't know, that's when you make 1 keyframe, 2 frames, basically when only every third frame is a keyframe)

Also you need to learn a bit more about sticks, because most of this looked like it was out of dbz (and so does all your other stuff haha), and dbz doesn't work as well with sticks as old school martial arts Xiao style does. Or speedstyle, if you can pull that off properly without spamming blurs, it looks quite epic.

So, in conclusion, you have lots to learn, but you are on your way.
I suggest you go to shiftlimits.com, make an account, talk on the forums, ask people for some tips/tutorials/etc. and you need to learn basic flash things like how to make the music stop when the movie does.

People flame us stick guys because they always say we don't put enough effort to full animate..... you didn't even put enough effort to fully animate stick people.

And instead of bitching about how hard pivot is, switch to flash maybe?
Oh, and i have used pivot. It's FUCKING EASY. Flash was not built for stick people so it's a lot harder to use the line tool. Personally, i fbf sticks with paint tool on my tablet, so it's extremely easy.

Anyways, now for the real review;

This was actually not that bad!
I could easily tell though that the movie you had in your mind had a lot more shading, more enemies, was more fast paced, had lots of camera angle changes, special effects and was a lot smoother though, amirite?
Lol, anyways, keep doing flash but make sure you don't do the one thing that will destroy you on NG....

do NOT submit every piece of crap you make. This one was submit-able. But please, don't submit everything you do.

Still good but....

You have lost your consistency.
This is especially strange, considering flashes and their animators usually get better as they progress...
but in the case of amalloc, well
you've still got your touch, but you're losing it.
keep the effort in your movies, i could see that this one was lacking a bit of effort.
that extra 10% really would have made the difference.

Anyways, i'd just like to say that the series is still awesome; but now it's taking a new turn...

The first few episodes were a lot more heartwarming, whereas this episode was a little more.... depressing.

But then again, that's how a classic works. Happy - Sad - Happy ending.
So i'm hoping ep. 5 will have that amazing feelgood thing about it, but until then

HorrorOfHell:
1) If you don't like sticks, why did you watch it?
2) you realize that us in the stick community would have appreciated this more than what you would have wanted
3) There is no fucking way anybody could animate full bodily that same video
4) You cannot say that sticks are easier to animate than anything else. Stick people go fbf. And full animations are always done by chopping up bodies into several objects on the stage and then tweening. The only exceptions to that are legends (swainzorz, egoraptorz etc.)

So next time, please try to be a little less ignorant.
I mean honestly, that video didn't deserve a 5. Not even if there was no background music at all.

And if you can't stop doing what you did right here, please just stop watching stick videos just so you can shut them down. It's not cool.
